New Stingray & AHP Partnership Improves Access To Innovative Oncology Treatments
Stingray Healthcare Group has announced a new strategic partnership with the American Hospital of Paris (AHP), under which it will assume operations of the Porte de Saint-Cloud Oncology Centre.
The acquisition will ensure that patients across the Île-de-France region enjoy unparalleled access to innovative oncology treatments, as well as both excellence and continuity of care.
Patients and healthcare professionals alike will benefit from a seamless transition, with the existing teams and established clinical standards set to continue as they are, after the oncology centre begins operation under the Amethyst brand.
Stingray Healthcare Group itself is the leading network of specialist oncology centres in Europe, with 33 facilities across eight countries, including 12 in France. More than 35,000 patients each year benefit from clinically excellent radiotherapy through the healthcare group.
Commenting on this new partnership, Stingray Chief Operating Officer Olivier Cosset said: “This milestone marks an important step in the development of Stingray and Amethyst in the Île-de-France region, alongside our centres in La Garenne-Colombes and Versailles.
“Our priority is to broaden patient access to innovative cancer treatments within a coordinated care pathway that upholds the highest standards of quality, in close collaboration with the teams at the American Hospital of Paris.”
AHP Chief Executive Benoȋt Gallix made further comments, saying that the alliance will provide people with high-quality care throughout their cancer journey, strengthening services and “drawing on the expertise of a trusted partner in the field of radiotherapy”.
